Ancestral Be-Kin involves young people in hands-on, farm-based education. They actively run a small-scale organic farm, taking part in planting, harvesting, and cooking with the produce they grow. This helps students connect with ecology and nutrition. Additionally, the young farmers weigh, wash, and donate hundreds of pounds of produce to local food pantries each year.
At our Agricultural & Art Summer Camp, young participants can practice drumming and storytelling throughout the week.
The community will engage in individual, student, family, leisure and organizational farm tours.
